I’ve gotten several questions about my setup so I will lay out some of the bits . . .
I am running an Apache-Labs radio – the ANAN-7000DLE MKII to be specific.
It has a built-in core I7 NUC computer and it runs openHPSDR which is what I display in my gates.
I am using line-in audio using an Electro-Voice RE-20 Microphone connected to a Focusrite scarlet 2i2 generation 3 USB interface connected to a 3.2GHz 6‑core 8th‑generation Intel Core i7 Mac Mini with 64 GB RAM running Avid Pro Tools.
HF Side of the house:
My HF amp is a Palstar LA1K LDMOS which puts out a clean KW on SSB
It works in conjunction with the Palstar HF Auto Tuner
My HF antenna is a G5RV built by WA2NAN The only 5 Star rated G5RV on E-Ham.net
